BE CUT OUT FOR

MEANING:- Naturally able or suited to do or be (something);isi kaam k liye hi bna hua hai; (इसी काम के लिए ही बना हुआ हैं)

EXAMPLES:- 

  • He is cut for this job.
  • Wo isi job ke liye hi bna hua hai.
  • वो इसी जॉब के लिए ही बना हुआ हैं

 

  • He is cut out for an artist.
  • Wo ek artist banne ke liye hi bna hai.
  • वो एक आर्टिस्ट बनने के लिए ही बना हैं|

 

  • He is not cut out for a football player
  • Wo ek football player banne ke liye suitable nahi hai.
  • वो एक फूटबॉल प्लेयर बनने के लिए|

 

  • Sumit and Seema seem to be cut out of each other.
  • Sumit aur Seema ek dusre ke liye hi bane hai.
  • सुमीत और सीमा एक दुसरा के लिए ही बने हैं|

 

  • They both don’t seem cut out of each other.
  • Wo dono ek dusre ke liye nahi bane hai.
  • वो दोनों एक दुसरे के लिए नहीं बने हैं|

AGAINST THE CLOCK 

MEANING:- In a great hurry, as fast as possible; Jaldi jaldi Kaam karna; (जल्दी जल्दी काम करना)

EXAMPLES:- 

  • We are working against the clock to finish the report by Friday.
  • Hum bahut jaldi jaldi Kaam kar rahe hain taki Friday ko hum kaam khatam kar de.
  • हम बहुत जल्दी जल्दी काम कर रहे है ताकि फ्राइडे को हम काम ख़तम कर दे|

 

  • Doctors raised against the clock to saved his life.
  • Doctors ne uski jaan bachane ke liye bhut jaldi jaldi kaam kiya.
  • डॉक्टर्स ने उसकी जान बचने के लिए बहुत जल्दी जल्दी काम किया|

 

  • It has now become a raised against the clock. Are you running against each other or against the clock?
  • Kya tum ek dusre se tej kaam kar rahe ho ya ghadi se jaldi(time Kam ho aur kaam jyada).
  • क्या तुम एक दूसरे से तेज काम कर रहे हो या घड़ी से जल्दी|

 

  • The emergencies services were working against the clock as the tide began to rise.
  • Rescue karne wali team bhut jaldi jaldi kaam kar rahi thi jaise lehar uthne lagi.
  • रेस्क्यू करने वाली टीम बहुत जल्दी जल्दी काम कर रही थी जैसे लहर उठाने लगी|

 

  • Why he is raised against the clock?
  • Wo jaldi jaldi kyu kaam kar raha hai?
  • वो जल्दी जल्दी क्यों काम कर रहा हैं ?
