Paragraph Reading

Read the following passage carefully. Pay attention to the details.

It was a quiet Friday evening, and I was relaxing on my sofa, watching a movie. The house was peaceful until I suddenly heard a loud knock on the door. I was not expecting any visitors, so I felt a bit curious. When I opened the door, I stood there in complete silence for a few seconds. Standing in front of me was my best friend from school, whom I had not seen in over ten years.

I felt completely overwhelmed by this surprise visit. He told me that he was traveling through the city and decided to drop by without calling first. We spent the entire night talking and laughing. We began to reminisce about our old teachers, the games we played during recess, and the time we got in trouble for talking in class. Even though so much time had passed, it felt like nothing had changed between us. This unexpected reunion reminded me that true friendships never fade, no matter how much distance is between people. It was a night filled with joy and nostalgia.
