INTERJECTION: विस्मयादिबोधक
An interjection is not grammatically bound to the sentence and expresses different types of feelings.
विस्मयादिबोधक व्याकरणिक रूप से वाक्य से स्वतंत्र है और विभिन्न प्रकार की भावनाओं को व्यक्त करता है
There are 6 types of Interjection:
1. The Interjection of Greeting:(अभिवादन का विस्मयादिबोधक)
Words that greet a person before initiating a conversation.
बातचीत शुरू करने से पहले किसी व्यक्ति का अभिवादन करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किए जाने वाले शब्द।
Examples:
Good morning! Where are you going early morning?
सुबह बख़ैर! तुम सुबह कहाँ जा रहे हो?
Hey! How are you doing?
अरे! आप कैसे हैं?
Hello! Let’s go shopping together.
नमस्कार! चलो साथ में शॉपिंग करते हैं।
Good evening! I am going for a run now.
सुसंध्या! मैं अब दौड़ने जा रहा हूं।
Ahoy! Is anybody there?
अहो! है कोई?
2. The Interjection of Joy:(आनंद का विस्मयादिबोधक)
Words that express happiness on an incident or receiving a piece of good news.
किसी घटना या शुभ समाचार मिलने पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करने वाले शब्द।
Examples:
Hurray! We won the match.
हुर्रे! हम मैच जीते।
Haha! That was a nice joke.
हा हा! वह एक अच्छा मजाक था।
Yahoo! You made it into the final round.
याहू! आपने इसे अंतिम दौर में बनाया है।
As the winners landed they were welcomed with a loud hurrrrrrayyyy!
जैसे ही विजेता उतरे, उनका जोरदार हुर्र्र्र्रेय्या के साथ स्वागत किया गया!
Wow! What a delicious pizza.
बहुत खूब! क्या स्वादिष्ट पिज्जा है।
3. The Interjection of Attention:(ध्यान का विस्मयादिबोधक)
Interjection of Attention gains the attention of the listeners on what you are speaking.
आप जो बोल रहे हैं उस पर श्रोताओं का ध्यान आकर्षित करने के लिए ध्यान का विस्मयादिबोधक का उपयोग किया जाता है।
Examples:
Listen! You will do the project tomorrow.
बात सुनो! आप कल परियोजना करेंगे।
Hush! Be silent.
चुप रहो! चुप हो।
Look! The teacher is coming.
नज़र! शिक्षक आ रहा है।
Behold! The scenery is so beautiful.
निहारना! नजारा बहुत खूबसूरत है।
4. The Interjection of Approval: (अनुमोदन का विस्मयादिबोधक)
The Interjection of Approval shows a feeling of approval to someone or something.
किसी व्यक्ति या किसी चीज को अनुमोदन की मजबूत भावना दिखाने के लिए अनुमोदन के विस्मयादिबोधक का उपयोग किया जाता है।
Examples:
Well Done! You have done a good job.
बहुत बढ़िया! आपने अच्छा काम किया है।
Brilliant! Your information is so helpful.
प्रतिभाशाली! आपकी जानकारी बहुत मददगार है।
Splendid! I like your piece of art.
उत्कृष्ट! मुझे आपकी कला पसंद है।
Bravo! You sang well.
वाहवाही! आपने बहुत अच्छा गाया है।
Yummy! The cake looks delicious.
स्वादिष्ट! केक स्वादिष्ट लगता है।
5. The Interjection of Surprise:(आश्चर्य का विस्मयादिबोधक)
These words are used to show or convey your surprise, anger, or shock over an incident.
इन शब्दों का उपयोग किसी घटना पर आपके आश्चर्य, क्रोध या सदमे को दिखाने या व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है।
Examples:
Oh! What a victory.
ओह! क्या जीत है।
Eh! You have created a mess.
एह! आपने गड़बड़ी पैदा कर दी है।
What! You have stained my dress.
क्या! तुमने मेरी पोशाक पर दाग लगा दिया है।
Ah! What a hot day.
आह! क्या गर्म दिन है
6. The Interjection of Sorrow:(दु: ख का विस्मयादिबोधक)
Words that express sadness, sorrow, or grief over something.
किसी बात पर दुख, दुख या शोक व्यक्त करने के लिए शब्दों का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
Examples:
Aah! I lost my purse.
आह! मेरा पर्स खो गया है
Ouch! My shoe hurts.
आउच! मेरा जूता दर्द करता है।
Awww! Poor girl.
आह! गरीब लड़की।
Alas! The cat died.
काश! बिल्ली मर गई।
Practice Exercises:
Identify the feeling of the Interjections.
विस्मयादिबोधक की भावना को पहचानें।
Ouch! It hurts.
आउच! यह दुखदायक है।
Alas! The dog died.
काश! कुत्ता मर गया।
Hurray! They won the match.
हुर्रे! वे मैच जीत गए।
Hmm! I don’t know if I should wear this dress.
हम्म! मुझे नहीं पता कि मुझे यह ड्रेस पहननी चाहिए या नहीं।
Uh Oh! The police caught him for stealing money.
उह ओह! पुलिस ने उसे पैसे चोरी करने के आरोप में पकड़ लिया।
