Ordinals: ऑर्डिनल्स
Ordinals show the position of something in a series.
ऑर्डिनल्स एक श्रृंखला में किसी चीज की स्थिति को दर्शाता है।
Examples:

He is the last boy to enter the class.

I am going to the academy next week.

Characteristic of Ordinals:

In a sentence, an ordinal comes before the cardinal.
एक वाक्य में कार्डिनल से पहले एक अध्यादेश आता है।
The first three books are to be read this week.
पहली तीन किताबें इसी हफ्ते पढ़ी जानी हैं।
Next week all six students are going to participate in the competition.
अगले सप्ताह सभी छह छात्र प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने जा रहे हैं।
She was the last person to eat the two chocolates.
वह दो चॉकलेट खाने वाली आखिरी व्यक्ति थीं।
WH Questions with Ordinal Determiners:
सामान्य निर्धारकों के साथ WH प्रश्न:
- When are you going to visit him?
आप उससे कब मिलने जा रहे हैं?
I am going to visit him next Monday.
मैं अगले सोमवार को उनसे मिलने जा रहा हूं।
- Who stood first in the class?
कक्षा में प्रथम कौन रहा?
My sister stood first in the class.
मेरी बहन ने कक्षा में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया।
- Why did you eat the third chocolate from the row?
आपने पंक्ति से तीसरी चॉकलेट क्यों खाई?
I ate the third chocolate from the row because that is my favorite.
मैंने पंक्ति से तीसरी चॉकलेट खाई क्योंकि वह मेरी पसंदीदा है।
- Where are you going?
तुम कहाँ जा रहे हो?
I am going to attend the last theatre show this year.

- Which chapter are you reading?

Ordinal Determiners Exercises:
Complete the sentences with the correct Ordinal. Change the number in the bracket to Ordinal Determiners.
सही क्रमसूचक वाक्यों को पूरा कीजिए। कोष्ठक में दी गई संख्या को साधारण निर्धारकों में बदलें।
