Possessives: अधिकार
A possessive determiner is used to express belongingness or possession of something.
एक स्वामित्व निर्धारक का उपयोग किसी चीज के अपनेपन या कब्जे को व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है।

Those are your books.

Characteristics of Possessives:
आधिपत्य के लक्षण:
- Possessive Determiners are used to specify objects we are talking about.
हम जिन वस्तुओं के बारे में बात कर रहे हैं, उन्हें निर्दिष्ट करने के लिए संभावित निर्धारकों का उपयोग किया जाता है।
He loves his dogs.
वह अपने कुत्तों से प्यार करता है।
I don’t like her behavior.
मुझे उसका व्यवहार पसंद नहीं है।
Can you lend me your pencil?
क्या आप मुझे अपना पेंसिल उधार दे सकते हैं?
That is their house.
वही उनका घर है।
- The pronoun whose acts as a determiner while asking questions about something to someone.
वह सर्वनाम जो किसी से कुछ के बारे में प्रश्न पूछते समय निर्धारक का कार्य करता हो ।
Whose book is this?
यह पुस्तक किसकी है?
Whose car is that?
यह किसकी कार है?
Do you know whose dogs are these?
क्या आप जानते हैं ये किसके कुत्ते हैं?
Whose house is this?
यह किसका घर है?
- A possessive Determiner is called a Possessive Adjective because when the determiner comes before the noun it acts as an adjective.
अधिकार निर्धारक को अधिकार विशेषण कहा जाता है क्योंकि जब निर्धारक संज्ञा से पहले आता है तो वह विशेषण के रूप में कार्य करता है।
This is his car.
यह उनकी कार है।
It is its house.
यह इसका घर है।
That is their books.
यही उनकी किताबें हैं।
These are her clothes.
ये उसके कपड़े हैं।
WH Questions with Possessive Determiners:
