Solid as a rock:- chattan ki tarah majboot.

EXAMPLES:-

  • The body of our car is solid as a rock
  • Humari car ki body chattan ki tarah majboot hai.
  • हमारी कार की बॉडी चट्टान की तरह मजबूत है|
  • His body looks as solid as a rock.
  • uski body ek chattan ki tarah lag rahi hai.
  • उसकी बॉडी एक चट्टान की तरह लग रही है|

Smooth as silk:- Resham ki tarah mulayam

EXAMPLES:-

  • The fabric looks as smooth as silk.
  • Fabric  resham ki tarah mulayam lag raha hai.
  • फैब्रिक  रेशम की तरह मुलायम लग रहा हैं|
  • Their bedsheet looks as smooth as silk.
  • Unki bedsheet resham ki tarah mulayam lag rahi hai.
  • उनकी बैडशीट रेशम की तरह मुलायम लग रही है|

Sure as death:- pakki khabar

EXAMPLES:-

  • He was not at the party I am pretty sure as death.
  • Wo party me nahi tha ye mujhe pakka yakin hai.
  • वो पार्टी में नहीं था ये मुझे पक्का यकीन है|
  • Are you confident he is not coming as sure as death?
  • Kya tum confident ho tumhe pakka yakin hai wo nahi aa raha hai?
  • क्या तुम कॉंफिडेंट हो तुम्हे पक्का यकीं है वो नहीं आ रहा है?

Silent as the grave:– kabar ki tarah shant

EXAMPLES:-

  • The whole building is as silent as grave.
  • Puri building mano ek kabr ki tarah shant hai.
  • पूरी बिल्डिंग मानो एक कब्र की तरह शांत है|
  • After his father’s died their whole family looks as silent as the grave.
  • Uski pita ki mrityu ke baad uski poori family ek kabar ki tarah shant lag rahi thii.
  • उसकी पिता की मृत्यु के बाद उसकी पूरी फैमिली एक ख़बर की तरह शांत लग रही थी|

Quick as wink:- jitni tej hum aankh maarte hai utna tej

EXAMPLES:-

  • His decision about marriage quick as wink.
  • Shaadi ke bare mein usne bahut teji se faisla liya.
  • शादी के बारे में उसने बहुत तेजी से फैसला लिया|
  • He is getting rich as quick as wink.
  • Wo ameer bahut teji se ho raha hai.
  • वो अमीर बहुत तेजी से हो रहा है|

Busy as be:-jaise madhumakhi apne chatte ke pass jaise bhinbhinati rehti hai,bhut busy

EXAMPLES:-

  • He has become as busy as to be after joining the new job.
  • Nayi job join karne ke baad wo bahut busy ho gaya.
  • नयी जॉब ज्वाइन करने के बाद वो बहुत बिजी हो गया|
  • Your father always looks as busy as be.
  • Tumhare pita humesha busy lagte hai.
  • तुम्हारे पिता हमेशा बिजी लगते है|

Light as feather:- pankh ki tarah halka

EXAMPLES:-

  • My new mobile is light as a feather
  • Mera Naya phone pankh ki tarah halka hai.
  • मेरा नया फ़ोन पंख की तरह हल्का है|
  • Your hair looks as light as feather.
  • आपके बाल पंख की तरह हल्के दिखते हैं।

Hot as hell:- narak ki tarah garam

EXAMPLES:-

  • During summer this city is as hot as hell.
  • Garmiyo mein ye sehar bhut garam ho jaata hai.
  • गर्मियों में ये शहर बहुत गरम हो जाता है|
  • Don’t park the car in the Sunlight otherwise, your car’s seat will be hot as hell.
  • Dhoop me gaadi park mat karo warna gaadi ki seat bahut garam ho jayegi.
  • धुप में गाडी पार्क मत करो वरना गाडी की सीट बहुत गरम हो जाएगी|

Cool as cucumber:- khere ki tarah thanda hona

EXAMPLES:-

  • He is cool as cucumber by nature
  • Wo swabhav se khere ki tarah thanda hai.
  • वो स्वाभाव से खीरे की तरह ठंडा है|
  • MS Dhoni in the field looks cool as cucumber.
  • MS Dhoni field pe ek khere ki tarah thande rehte hai.
  • म.एस धोनी फील्ड पे एक खीरे की तरह ठंडे रहते है|
