Kulhadi bhool jaati hai, par jis ped par chalti hai wo kabhi nahi bhoolta.

English Translation – “What forgets is the axe, but the tree that has been axed will never forget.”

Meaning – Those who cause harm may forget their actions, but those who suffer remember the pain for a long time.
