Would and Would Not:
It expresses habits of the past, imaginations, polite requests, and wish.
होगा और नहीं: यह अतीत की आदतों, कल्पनाओं, विनम्र अनुरोधों और इच्छाओं को व्यक्त करता है।
Examples:
I would like to see the house.
मुझे घर देखना है।
He would not wake up early and go to the office.
वह जल्दी नहीं उठता और ऑफिस जाता।
I would rather sleep than watch a movie.
मैं फिल्म देखने के बजाय सोना पसंद करूंगा।
I wish my sister was here.
काश मेरी बहन यहाँ होती।
She would not make food ever.
वह कभी खाना नहीं बनाती थी।
Characteristics of Would and Would Not:

These are used to talk about the past, future in the past, and conditional sentences. There are many ways we use would such as to say something derogatory, form our opinion on something, for expectations and regrets as well.
इनका उपयोग भूतकाल, भूतकाल में भविष्य और सशर्त वाक्यों के बारे में बात करने के लिए किया जाता है। ऐसे कई तरीके हैं जिनका हम उपयोग करते हैं जैसे कि कुछ अपमानजनक कहना, किसी चीज़ पर अपनी राय बनाना, अपेक्षाओं और पछतावे के लिए भी।
Even as a child she knew she would succeed in life.
बचपन में भी वह जानती थी कि वह जीवन में सफल होगी।
Yesterday the car wouldn’t start.
कल कार स्टार्ट नहीं होगी।
If I had won the lottery I would have bought gold.
अगर मैं लॉटरी जीत जाता तो मैं सोना खरीद लेता।
If I were in your place I wouldn’t have accepted the offer.
अगर मैं आपकी जगह होता तो मैं इस प्रस्ताव को स्वीकार नहीं करता।
I would expect her to come for my birthday.
मुझे उम्मीद है कि वह मेरे जन्मदिन पर आएगी।
Would that his mother was here to see him become a doctor.
काश उसकी मां उसे डॉक्टर बनते देखने के लिए यहां होती।

They ‘d have drank the juice but they were in a hurry.
उन्होंने जूस पी लिया होगा लेकिन वे जल्दी में थे।
Would Not – wouldn’t
नहीं होगा – नहीं होगा
He needed to work hard but he wouldn’t admit that.
उसे कड़ी मेहनत करने की जरूरत थी लेकिन वह ऐसा नहीं मानता था।
He said he wouldn’t give her any money.
उसने कहा कि वह उसे कोई पैसा नहीं देगा।
I wouldn’t have gone there if I had the idea of being stuck.
अगर मुझे फंसने का ख्याल होता तो मैं वहां नहीं जाता।
