Weekly Star Performer – October First Week
Congratulations, Deepti Bais, on winning this week’s Video Activity Challenge!
We really enjoyed watching your video on “Birthday Celebrations.” You expressed your thoughts very well and gave some thoughtful and valid reasons for why you don’t host a very big birthday party or celebrate with a large number of people. We especially liked how you explained that when there are too many people around, it becomes difficult for you to give everyone your attention. Your ideas felt honest, personal, and relatable.
You were also very expressive and confident while sharing your thoughts, which made your response engaging to watch. One area you can work on is organising your thoughts before you start speaking. Since you were thinking and speaking at the same time, there were a few moments where you took some extra time to frame your ideas, which affected the overall flow slightly.
Before speaking on a topic, try taking a few moments to mentally organise your key points. Once your thoughts are clear, you’ll find it much easier to express them smoothly and maintain a natural flow.
Overall, you did a really good job! Keep expressing yourself with the same confidence and authenticity, and with a little more preparation and regular practice, your fluency and flow will become even stronger.
Weekly Star Performer – October Second Week
Congratulations, Zarin Fatima, on winning this week’s Video Activity Challenge!
We really enjoyed listening to your video on the topic of “Reading Books.” You spoke very well and expressed your thoughts about reading in a clear and thoughtful way. Your ideas came across naturally, and it was evident that you were comfortable sharing your perspective on the topic.
One thing we especially appreciated was your voice. Your voice is very soft and pleasant, and your voice modulation makes you very soothing to listen to. This is a wonderful quality and adds a calm and engaging feel to the way you communicate.
One area you can work on is your pitch and the use of pauses while speaking. Paying a little more attention to where you raise or lower your pitch and where you take natural pauses will make your speech even more expressive and impactful.
Overall, you did a really good job. With a little more focus on pitch, pauses, and regular practice, I’m sure you will be able to speak even more confidently and wonderfully. Keep up the great work!
Weekly Star Performer – October Third Week
Congratulations, Kalpna Sinkar, on winning this week’s Video Activity Challenge!
We really enjoyed watching your video on the topic of “My Favorite Festival.” You shared your thoughts very naturally and brought a lot of positivity to your response. One thing we especially want to appreciate is how cheerful and energetic you were throughout the video. Your cheerful personality made the video really delightful to watch and made your response feel warm and engaging.
One area you can work on is including more real-life examples while sharing your thoughts. When you support your ideas with personal experiences or simple examples from everyday life, it becomes much easier for the listener to connect with what you are saying. It will also help you expand your thoughts naturally and speak more fluently.
So, whenever you are speaking on a topic, try to think of one or two real-life experiences or examples that you can connect with the topic. This will make your response more relatable and help you maintain a smoother flow while speaking.
Overall, you did a really good job! Keep bringing the same cheerful energy and confidence to your videos, and with a little more focus on real-life examples and regular practice, I’m sure your fluency and expression will become even stronger.
